This beefcake offers approximately 4'x5' (45"x 58") of surface area and 5" of the best foam in the industry. Like the Simple Pad, the Big Pad closes securely with 4 simple metal buckle closures. Beefy, well-balanced shoulder straps are augmented with a thick 2" hip belt to help get you out to your project swiftly and comfortably. Three carrying handles let you tug the pad around between problems without having to pack it up. A hybrid hinge keeps your foam like new and gives you a smooth target. Compatible with our deluxe hip belt for extra support when packing huge loads long distances! Partner with our innovative Load Flap to quickly and securely piggy back multiple pads to your Big pad when hiking!

How big is the Big Pad?

What foam is inside?
A recyclable three-layer sandwich of closed and open cell foam, with a hybrid hinge that keeps the foam like new and gives you a smooth landing target. We use a unique foam at the top of our layers with infinite memory, so it prevents any creasing in your landing surface, ensuring a long life for your foam and pad.
How does it carry on the approach?
Beefy, well-balanced shoulder straps with a thick 2-inch hip belt, plus three grab handles for dragging it between problems without packing up provide multiple comfortable carry options. For even greater comfort It's also compatible with our Deluxe Hip Belt for hauling big loads on long approaches.
Can I attach other pads to it?
Yes. With its size, the Big Pad makes a natural base for a stack. Partner it with our Load Flap to quickly and securely piggyback multiple pads when hiking.
