Manufacturing high quality outdoor gear in a modern setting with a focus on sustainability and creativity. While ORGANIC Climbing was established in 2004 and we continue to grow and evolve everyday with changing markets, materials, and interests.
Since 2009 all of our gear has been hand cut and sewn in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. In 2018 we worked to build and move into our own facility that allowed us to go #SolarSewn and provide a better workspace for our team with more natural light, modern aesthetic and open floor space. As a small brand with a big presence you can find our gear in local retailers, gyms, and shops worldwide. Some of our largest partners are in Japan, UK, and Spain with smaller more localized operations in a number of other countries.
We started Nittany Mountain Works in 2016 as a means to maintain the core branding of ORGANIC Climbing but expand our offerings and sewing prowess into other markets with a working brand motto of "from camp to campus and everything in between." Since than we've worked to bring all manufacturing in house and incorporated dye sublimation printing into the fold.
Shop tours can easily be honed to fit your groups current curriculum, discussion topic, or we can just show you our space and process in a Q+A style format.

Group Sew and Tour
Group sewing experiences need to be scheduled atleast three weeks in advance to best accommodate your group. Group sews are limited to twelve individuals and that are split into two small groups. One group of six learns basic sewing while the other tours the shop.
